Our goal: our customers feel comfortable enough to enter the data themselves and to make decisions based upon this data without having to take classes in accounting and/or the software operation.

RealEasyBooks Inc. (formally Real-Comp Inc.) has been publishing software since 1983. That was about the time that IBM came out with its personal computers and everyone wanted to automate. Our first software was for the Real Estate Industry: "Real Analyzer" and "Real Property Manager".

Why Real Estate software? Ed Lichtman, the founder and President of RealEasyBooks Inc., was working at the time in as a Realtor and Property Manager. He also had many years of experience as a Financial Planner and as a Programmer of financial models. But foremost, in 1983, the Real Estate market was in a slump so he had plenty of time to develop Real Estate software.

"Real Property Manager" now called "RPMW" has evolved and improved over the years. These improvements have been the results of changing technology and the feedback from our clients. It is our policy to encourage that feedback.

"ezBooks4U" and "ezREB" came later. During our close association with SCORE - a nationwide organization providing free counseling to Small Business (www.score.org), we observed that, in too many cases, their clients did not understand their financial data. Thus, after several years of development, "ezREB" - the Small Business Accounting software was born.

We developed and donated to SCORE "ClickIt" - an administrative and scheduling software for use in all their chapters.
